SafetyBytes® - Using PPE Around Ammonia

The main safety hazard of ammonia is that it is extremely corrosive to the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract.  In this SafetyBytes™ session, we will discuss the personal protective equipment that should be used when working with anhydrous ammonia. This course reviews the PPE that must be utilized when working with ammonia. You should always be equipped with necessary response supplies, and know how to respond in an emergency.
